Master

Once you are level 99 you will have two choices to further advance your character.
If you are already a Subpath or have decided against it you may now become a Master of your class.

What is a Master?

Master is a prestige title given to you when you reach the final stage of your class.
You may no longer choose to Subpath if you haven't already done so.
You will gain access to more powerful armor, equipment, weapons, skills and spells.
You will also be able to buy extra stat points using Health (Which costs experience points.)

Should I not Subpath first?

This totally depends on how much you like your current class.
If you are really enjoying it then Subbing could drastically change the gameplay style and may not be a good idea.

What are the benefits of Mastering Pure?

All pure classes gain some unique skills or spells that Subpath characters don't get.
Subpath characters are often more versatile but pures are better specialised to their roles.

The Requirements

Take off all your equipment to check your base Health and Mana.
If they are short you will need to complete Aisling of Talgonite quest to purchase more using experience points.

Ready to Master?

When you're ready to Master visit Aoife in the Temple of Choosing.
This is the same temple you used to choose your first class many insights ago.

Click her "Master" speech option and proceed through the chat.
She will check if you have the correct health, mana, skills, spells and experience.
If you meet the requirements she will ask you to return with your master item.


Head to Abel Crypt 10-2 and speak to Torgny in Ancient Dwarven Cave about the master item. He will explain that to craft the master item you will need to hunt a Broken Jackal's Sword and a Jackal's Hilt from deep within Cthonic Remains.

If you already have both parts speak to him again to craft your Jackal's Display Sword.

Return to Aoife in the Temple of Choosing and talk to her about "Warrior Master" again.
She will take the Jackal's Display Sword and 200,000,000 Experience from you before globally announcing you as a Master.

Congratulations!

You will receive a Hy-brasyl Escalon and your Warrior Master Mantle or Warrior Master Dress.

You will also receive "Charge" and your sixth assail, "Thrash"
Now that you are a master, Wailen in Oren will teach you "Cyclone Blade".
If you are pure he will also teach you "Mad Soul" and "asgall faileas".

As a Pure Warrior you are also able to learn Paralyze Force, Perfect Defense, Sacrifice, Sever and Sneak Attack from the Warrior Training Grounds after increasing your stats.

Head to Loures Castle and speak to Jean in Loures Floor 3 Magic Room about the master item. He will explain that to craft the master item you will need to hunt a Magic Ink and a Magic Scroll from deep within Cthonic Remains.

If you already have both parts speak to him again to craft your Wizard's Book.

Return to Aoife in the Temple of Choosing and talk to her about "Wizard Master" again.
She will take the Wizard's Book and 200,000,000 Experience from you before globally announcing you as a Master.

Congratulations!

You will receive a Magus Orb and your Wizard Master Mantle or Wizard Master Dress.

You will also receive "pian na dion".
Now that you are a master, The Fairy in Shinewood Forest 11 will teach you "fas spiorad".
If you are pure she will also teach you "Wings of Protection".

Head to Suomi Village and speak to Bertil in Suomi White Magic Master about the master item. She will explain that to craft the master item you will need to hunt a Holy Ink and a Holy Scroll from deep within Cthonic Remains.

If you already have both parts speak to her again to craft your Priest's Book.

Return to Aoife in the Temple of Choosing and talk to her about "Priest Master" again.
She will take the Priest's Book and 200,000,000 Experience from you before globally announcing you as a Master.

Congratulations!

You will receive a Holy Hy-brasyl Gnarl and your Priest Master Mantle or Priest Master Dress.

You will also receive "mor dion comlha".
Now that you are a master, The Fairy in Shinewood Forest 11 will teach you "deo searg gar".
If you are pure she will also teach you "deo searg".

Head to Sapphire Stream and speak to Kyros in Cedar Grove about the master item. He will explain that to craft the master item you will need to hunt a Gold Sand and a Cauldron from deep within Cthonic Remains.

If you already have both parts speak to him again to craft your Sand Glass.

Return to Aoife in the Temple of Choosing and talk to her about "Monk Master" again.
She will take the Sand Glass and 200,000,000 Experience from you before globally announcing you as a Master.

Congratulations!

You will receive a Kalkuri and your Monk Master Mantle or Monk Master Dress.

You will also receive "Iron Skin".
Now that you are a master, Wailen in Oren will teach you "Triple Kick".
If you are pure he will also teach you "Whirlwind Attack".

Head to Eastwoods 20-1 and speak to Rowena in Singing Sylvan Glade about the master item. She will explain that to craft the master item you will need to hunt a Copper File and a Smith's Hammer from deep within Cthonic Remains.

If you already have both parts speak to her again to craft your Fae's Flute.

Return to Aoife in the Temple of Choosing and talk to her about "Rogue Master" again.
She will take the Flute and 200,000,000 Experience from you before globally announcing you as a Master.

Congratulations!

You will receive a Hy-brasyl Azoth and your Rogue Master Mantle or Rogue Master Dress.

You will also receive "Assassin Strike" and "Midnight Slash".
Now that you are a master, Wailen in Oren will teach you "Stab Twice".
If you are pure he will also teach you "Shadow Figure".

What to do Next?

Fight in the Goblin War. If you are a Warrior, Monk, or Rogue you can get your master helmet by helping in the war.

Empower your Weapon. There is no reason for most classes to do this because Canals Equipment is easy to obtain.
Pure Priests should definitely upgrade their staff if they aren't rushing to become a Bard.

Buy Stats. You are now able to spend Health points on stats.
It will cost 150 Health per stat but after completing the Aisling of Talgonite quest you are able to buy Health using Experience.

Grandmaster Quests. This is the next step in the game for a Master.
You will probably need some help but you may begin the quests and eventually slay the Creants.
